A New York investment firm is poised to pay about $75 million for a new apartment building in the West Loop, a deal that underscores the area's popularity with investors. Reschke changes plan for West Loop site

A Chicago-based developer intends to build a $750 million residential project near downtown that it said will have enough scope and variety to be a new neighborhood.
